Zsuzsa Sztruhár (b. 1986, Tatabánya) is a visual artist. Since 2006, she has lived and worked in Budapest. From 2006 to 2012, she studied painting at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts; her teachers were Árpád Szabados, Péter Kiss and Imre Bukta. In 2010, she lived and worked in Valencia, and then in Venice in 2017, with Erasmus scholarships. She became a doctoral fellow in 2014, her supervisor was Eszter Radák. In 2020, she obtained her DLA degree. In 2019-2020, she received the Derkovits scholarship. She has been a member of the Hermina Creative Group since 2015. In 2012, she began making the Music machines (or Melody machines), interactive kinetic sound sculptures and musical instruments, and has engaged in playing musical instruments and composing music.
